A Summary of How I met my better half

It all happened at the beginning of Fall semester 2012, to be more precise, it was the first Sunday of the semester where bishop Chris Justice asked me to give a talk about service. I started off by saying "Ni Hao," which is hi in Chinese. What my husbands told me about that moment was that as soon as he heard Chinese, he squinted his eyes to see me and realized that I wasn't Chinese and that I had an accent lol. After church, I was going through my Chinese notes since it was my second semester taking Chinese, that night I decided to stop by my home teacher's apartment for help (Zachary David Bradshaw) since he was fluent in Chinese so why not right? Well, guess what, he wasn't there, but Kyle was, he quickly jumped in from the living room to the kitchen:

Kyle: Do you know Chinese?
Me: No, I am learning
Kyle: Me too
Me: Oh, are you going on a mission?
Kyle: (chuckles) No, I am a RM. I served in Australia
Me: Oh, ok. Tell Zack that I stopped by

He was surprised about me not getting amazed or excited about him having served in Australia like many people does when they hear Australia. In that time, we weren't interested in each other at all, we both were actually trying to sell our housing contract, and were so into the Chinese language and culture. So just to make friends, he suggested to study together so it would be a win to win, practice together since Zach was hardly in the apartment. We exchanged numbers and decided to study at BYU library on Mondays after FHE. After that, I went to hang out with my VT, and I told her about Kyle, and she seemed to know him pretty well because when she asked me about his name, I didn't even remember, but she got it with the description I gave, then she said: "So just so you know, I really really really really really like that boy." I was surprised about how odd that sounded, but I told her, "hey girl, totally fine, he just volunteered to be study buddies, I don't even like him, he is blond and has big lips, no my type." I think that was the last time we ever hanged out. Anyhow, our first time studying together we didn't have a clue of how to start and all. It was hard to keep up with it because I was a semester ahead of him and I was learning Chinese simplified and he was learning the Traditional. He felt the same way, we both thought it was a waste of time and that we didn't feel like it was helping at all. One of that study nights, we had a marker fight, so we kind of played to make it fun and that was it. We decided to hang out, we went to Bachata room with some friends, he was the only guy in the car lol, but he was so down for dancing. I liked that. We started hanging out more and more and that's how we fell from each other. We started dating as "officially" on November 4th, 2012. For that, we went on a long walk and told him how I am, that sometimes my honesty hurts but ya, and that I just like to have fun and not rush in a relationship, that if any of us like someone else, to be honest and keep the friendship, we also talked about our goals and we both agreed that we didn't want to rush on the relationship. I agreed and so did he on the relationship. Funny enough, the first Sunday since we started dating, he invited me to dinner with her family in AF, because of feeling like he was rushing thanks to my roommates, I wanted to dumped him, but it was Sunday so I didn't want to ruin his Sunday and decided to wait until I had time again. Then he invited me to drive with him and PJ to Minnesota for Thanksgiving break to meet his dad. Everyone were telling me that he was rushing, I felt more like hey, yeah, that would be a fun thing rather than looking at it like getting something serious between us. I introduced him to my second parents and know what they thought about him as dating me. They liked him and Kyle is so friendly and easygoing person that makes cool conversation with everyone, even if the person is quiet or so lol. Anyhow, on January 21, 2013 Kyle proposed to me in Florida, he wanted to ask for my dad's permission before popping out the question, then by April 27,2013 we were married at Timpanogos temple. Now I am happily married, we just welcomed out first daughter Mariana on November 29th, 2014 (planned) and I graduated from UVU on December 18th, 2014.
